Sally Hamilton French, the farm’s proprietor, works tirelessly to care for all of the animal whilst providing a safe, fun and educational site for locals and visitors to explore, interact with the live stock, learn about habitats and nature and enjoy a hands-on experience with the ever-expanding family of animals. From micro pigs to horses, birds of prey to meerkats, all needs and interests are catered for.

Fresh Fields and STARS have worked closely together for many years and Sally has kindly donated her time and event fundraising and open day ‘income’ to the charity, to help those suffering with Syncope, PoTS, and other heart rhythm disorders. “STARS aims to ensure that anyone presenting with unexplained loss of consciousness receives the correct diagnosis, the appropriate treatment, informed support and sign posting to the appropriate medical professional. We offers information and advice to patients, carers and medical professionals to help manage symptoms and regain quality of life, with our dedicated helpline, information resources and patient meetings.” The donations we received from Fresh Fields have enabled us to continue to provide out services and help our members and their families, to better manage and understand their condition.

Sally has helped me personally, both with a horse of my own and as a sufferer of Reflex Anoxic Seizures. Without Sally, I honestly do not know if I would still be here today. Working for STARS enables me to help others, as I have received help in the past myself.
